Product description
Explosion-proof valves are specialised protective devices that remain open under normal operating conditions, allowing air to flow freely in both directions - in and out of the protected space. They effectively operate natural ventilation, ensuring proper air circulation in the system. These valves are usually installed on vents or ducts as part of larger ventilation systems. Their main purpose is to protect, for example, shelters, cellars or other enclosed spaces against the pressure wave - both positive and negative - caused by a potential explosion.
Available BVNO valve models:
BVNO 50 - nominal air flow: 50 m³/h at 200 Pa
BVNO 550 – nominal air flow: 550 m³/h at 200 Pa
BVNO 600 – nominal air flow: 600 m³/h at 200 Pa
BVNO 1000 – nominal air flow: 1000 m³/h at 200 Pa
BVNO 1800 – nominal air flow: 1800 m³/h at 200 Pa
BVNO 2600 – nominal air flow: 2600 m³/h at 200 Pa
BVNO 2900 – nominal air flow: 2900 m³/h at 200 Pa
Technical specifications for explosion-proof valves:
The back pressure resistance of more than 900 kPa (i.e. more than 9 bar) makes the valves particularly resistant to high back pressures. With a mechanical shock resistance of more than 12 g, they are reliable in harsh environments. Refers to the Y version, i.e. the valve model designed for the safety function only. BVNO valves can be further customised to the specific needs of the user - for example, they can be equipped with a special housing for connection to ducting, mounting flanges, pre-filters or quick couplers.
