NBC/CBRN ventilation and filtration systems for shelters — clean air and protection against blasts, gases and dust. We offer Lunor, ARC and SAFE 360 units, ventilation blowers with manual backup, explosion-proof valves and filters. Ventilation intensity is chosen by room size and number of people — our specialists will recommend the right solution and carry out a site survey.
How to choose a shelter ventilation system
An NBC ventilation system keeps the shelter at a slight overpressure: filtered air is pushed into the room, so contaminated air cannot enter through gaps. A complete set includes blast valves, a pre-filter, an NBC filter and a blower with manual backup — the system works even without electricity.
System capacity is chosen by the number of people and room volume. A small family shelter is usually served by SAFE 360, mid-size rooms by the Lunor series, and larger sites by ARC systems and AFU filters with higher airflow.

Blast valves protect the air ducts against shock waves up to 9 bar: open BVNO valves (50–550 m³/h at 200 Pa) pass air in normal mode and close on impact, while closed BVNC valves open only to release overpressure from the room.

How is ventilation system capacity calculated?
By the planned number of people and the room volume. For example, the Lunor VA-40 serves up to 13 people, the VA-75 covers 14 to 25, and the VA-150 covers 26 to 50 people. We will help you size the system for your shelter during a consultation.
Does the ventilation work without electricity?
Yes. The blowers have a manual operation option, so air exchange can be maintained even during a power outage.
Why does a shelter need blast valves?
Valves protect the ventilation openings from the blast wave — without them, the shock wave and contaminated air can enter the room through the air ducts. They are required on both the intake and the exhaust side.
