Product description
Pressure relief valves are specialised devices that normally operate as closed valves. They are designed to effectively maintain excessive pressure in the protected area. In addition, their operating principles provide additional protection against explosions. This makes them important for protecting premises exposed to potential threats. Such a valve works by remaining closed until a certain level of overpressure is reached in the bunker or shelter. When the internal pressure exceeds the set threshold, the valve automatically opens, allowing excess air or pressure to be released. This prevents further pressure build-up that could damage the structure or endanger the safety of people in the protected space.
